Home Remedies for Allergies

The allergy is an immune system response to a foreign substance in the body and usually people who suffer from this problem are sensitive to more than one substance. The allergy may arise for various reasons, such as pollen, dust, insect bites, certain foods, latex, medications, certain strong odors, mold, animal dander, dust mites, among others. The person who is going through a crisis of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, obstruction, itchy nose, sneezing, coughing and red eyes and nose. See below some indications of the home remedies for treatment of allergy:
Natural allergy treatments

Melon juice, cucumber and watercress

Melon, cucumber and watercress are great foods to treat skin rashes because they are rich in zinc, iron, beta-carotene and bioflavonoids, which strengthen the protection of the skin. The juice prepared with these ingredients is moisturizing, nourishing and helps in relieving itching and wound healing that may occur.

Ingredients:

- Melon 250 g;
- Cucumber 50 g;
- 20 grams of watercress.

Preparation:

Wash the ingredients and pass by centrifugation. After that, put the mixture on the affected skin area and leave for 15 minutes. To stir the mixture, wash the skin with hypoallergenic soap and dry thoroughly.

Banana
The banana is an herb that has expectorant properties help clear secretions from the respiratory allergies such as sinusitis and rhinitis.

In the form of tea, banana is respiratory allergies; as a poultice, skin allergies.

Banana Tea

Ingredients:

- 15 grams of plantain leaves;
- 500 ml of boiling water.

Preparation:
Boil the water and add the herb. Cover, let cool and drink after straining. The recommended intake is 2 cups of this tea a day.

Poultice

To treat a rash, apply the poultice with wrinkled leaves of banana and leave for 10 minutes. Then throw it away and application of new leaves curled repeating the procedure 3-4 times a day.

Chamomile tea

Chamomile tea helps to improve the symptoms of allergy and is good for insomnia and digestion.

Ingredients:

- 1 teaspoon of dried herb;
- 1 cup of hot water.

Preparation:

Place the herb in a pot and then put water at the top. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Strain and drink.

Teas cashew shells dry wood and thorn-santa can also be used to treat allergies.
